Day 1

Today we woke up at half past 4. Ishani ate an entire roti at 5 am and then we went to the airport at Eindhoven. In the car we got one more speech from Ishani's parents and then we were on our own. At the airplane the movie ice age was on, which caused ishani to make even more noise than the baby, but luckily she was crying of laughter.

A few hours we arrived at Faro and took the bus to Albufeira. After checking in, we had to wait two hours before we could go into our appartment, so we decided to take a cab to the old part of albufeira to look at some shops and then we ate lunch next to the beach. The waiter asked if we were from England ( based upon our accent), so that was nice :) Then we had contact with the people of our internship to talk about what we are going to do tomorrow, and the place and time. Then we went to the appartment and installed our stuff. After that we went to the supermarket and after an hour of deciding what we needed we had dinner and we discussed all the things we want to do and what days are best for doing them. We went home again and because of the nice weather we decided to go to the pool and lay in the sun. Ishani refused to go swimming, but the water was quite nice :) then we both took a shower  and went to the balcony to paint our nails with the nailpolish we bought this afternoon. We sat on the balcony to watch the sunset with some drinks and a snack to we played  with cards and talked, and after a few hours we went to bed. Tommorow our first internship day. Excited !
